Cashew cream cheese, that’s all😍

This was one of the easiest and tastiest cream cheeses I’ve made, and I’ve made a lot. I’m a fan of tofu cream cheese if you need it in a pinch, but if you take the time to plan a day ahead, this one is well worth it. Here’s the recipe:⠀

2 cups raw soaked cashews⠀
1/2 cup filtered water⠀
2 TBS plain coconut yogurt (recipe for this is on the blog!)⠀
salt to taste⠀

Blend soaked cashews, water, and salt in a high powered blender until completely smooth and creamy. Empty into a clean bowl and mix in coconut yogurt. Pour in a clean glass jar, cover with cheesecloth, and allow to culture at room temp for 24-48 hours until it reaches desired tanginess! Store in the fridge for up to a week! .
